Extensions for Twitter App

For real why this is not possible ? I want for example build Extensions for Twitter IOS App and I’m sure many others want do the same, users have the choice of using those Extensions or not , those Extensions will improve Twitter IOS App for sure and as you all know from IOS 8 building Extensions for other Apps possible
