Hello,
I am trying to use the twitter api v1.1 with php
i created an app and everything
however, when i try to retrieve tweets i get {“errors”:[{“code”:32,“message”:“Could not authenticate you.”}]}
Although i used the same app with a python script and it works just fine.

help me.

No need to post your consumer key and secret, but what libraries are you using in both cases? What endpoints are you hitting?

well for python am using tweepy and langid for geo search

php Phirehose as this link shows: https://github.com/J7mbo/twitter-api-php

and tried also this package https://packagist.org/packages/spatie/twitter-streaming-api but samething

What Tweets are you attempting to retrieve? With some details about your use case, I might be able to point you towards a newer library and endpoint that would satisfy your use case.

If you are set on using those tools, just make sure that they are handling your consumer keys and secrets appropriately.

what i want to do is

• retreive tweets from a certain region
• retreive tweets of a certain user from a certain region

Our team invests a lot of time and energy into the search-tweets-python repo. I strongly recommend that you use this repository if possible, but you are going to have to apply for a developer account to be able to use the premium Search API products.

We also have this page on our documentation that will point you towards several other repositories. This page is, admittedly, outdated. We will be working to update it with the latest repositories in the near future.
