I tried to confirm my email for my developer account following the link, but I got this from the Developer Portal:

Error verifying account
Unknown error.

Any ideas what to do? Thank you.

I have this problem too. The all powerful Unknown error strikes again!

I have had the same problem for over a week.
Nothing has changed after a week.
I’m worried because I didn’t reply to the email.

Hey this problem is resolved for me.

I took a look at your accounts and they were similar to mine, i.e no tweets, no followings, no profiles… I dont know that it matters but for a brief period of time my account was also locked and i had to complete a capatcha to verify there is a real person behind the account. In total the Unknown error only lasted a day for me. If you are still blocked try using your twitter account a bit. Good luck!

We did have an issue with a few accounts that applied for developer access not being able to validate email addresses last week - we deployed a fix for this yesterday, so please check again and see if this is resolved for you.
