I’m using the OAuth Signature Generator Tool with the /validate_credentials.json URI and I always receive an error code 32 stating it could not authenticate me.
When I fill out the “access token” and “access token secret” fields using an access token I generate in the apps.twitter.com admin panel, it works. But if I use an access token and secret from a user that has used my Twitter login method (from https://docs.fabric.io/ios/twitter/authentication.html#log-in-method). The user grants access, a token and secret are generated, the app appears in the user’s settings > apps page, and it should all be good. But it’s not. Every request with an auth token not generated in the admin panel fails with that error.
For reference, I’m using the curl command given to me directly from the OAuth Tool and I’m on Ubuntu 14.04 with curl and OpenSSL versions:
curl 7.35.0 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.35.0 OpenSSL/1.0.1f zlib/1.2.8 libidn/1.28 librtmp/2.3
Any ideas? Thanks!
