Error code 226

#1

We have an app that uses the twitter4j java library where users can post tweets. Everything works great except for ONE account. Since about 3/8, when this account tries to post a tweet, the following error is returned:

403:The request is understood, but it has been refused. An accompanying error message will explain why. This code is used when requests are being denied due to update limits (https://support.twitter.com/articles/15364-about-twitter-limits-update-api-dm-and-following).

We tried removing our app from their account and we get the same error. We also tried posting a tweet with no links and no tags.

It should be noted that this account was hacked around that same time. The hack was with their twitter account, it had nothing to do with our app. However, the user is able to post tweets directly through Twitter.

How do I get this account unblocked so it can post through our app again?

Thanks!
Chris
