When trying to validate (Domain error), everything seems fine, just need whitelisting but then I get this message which does not help a lot:

*.la-cascade.ghost.io whitelist request failed
ERROR: Card validation failed

Can you help me please? Thanks!

Hi Pierre, I’ve just run that through the validator and it goes through OK, with a button to apply for whitelisting approval on the left-hand side. If you run the validation again and request approval, you should be all set as far as I can tell.

Hi Andy, thanks for your kind answer. I ran it again and, nope, same answer.

Since this was a post, I tried the same with the home page of the blog, same problem. The validator says it’s ok, I apply for whitelisting approval on the left-hand side, answer the questions (the only thing I modify is ‘description’, which is blank, the rest is already filled-in), send the request and boom, error message.

Am I missing something? Thx again, p

Hi Andy. Mine is strange problem. I have not whitelisted http://pawankalyanfans.com for summary card. when i tried to validate, on left side it says my card is validated 21days ago but on right side it says its not whitelisted. Can you please check on this.

I’m currently having the same issue validating some of my brands

INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 31 metatags were found
INFO: twitter:card = SUMMARY tag found
WARN: Not whitelisted

I’ve tried to verify a product page and this summary page (http://www.scottsofstow.co.uk) but it always comes back with the same error…

  *.scottsofstow.co.uk whitelist request failed
  ERROR: Card validation failed

Any ideas?

As the validator is showing you, the twitter:card tag does not contain a valid value. It needs to be one of the supported types.
