Empty Twitter Card when Omitting twitter:site and twitter:creator

Hi,

If I leave out twitter:site and/or twitter:creator then I get a blanco twitter card. According to the specs, site and creator are not required. What is wrong?

You have to pass at least one of the metatags (twitter:site and/or twitter:creator), even though the specs says the metatags are not required.

If we already use twitter:site, are we obliged to create twitter:creator ?
