Embedding timeline but not profile

Hi,

We are trying to embed our timeline in our site (https://laxoubillard.com) using :

• the code created with https://publish.twitter.com/#

• or with the code created from inside the twitter function (settings/widget/create a widget)

In both cases we display only the tweets of the profile page not the timeline one (that is only the tweets published by laxoubillard ; the tweets sent to laxoubillard using @laxoubillard do not appear)

We are new with twitter and don’t know how to manage the problem ?!

That is expected behaviour - you are only going to see the Tweets sent by the user, not Tweets that mention the user.

Hi,

I understand that “mention” tweets are not seen but what about tweets sent using "@user’sname ? I red that there is a difference between the two kinds of tweets. Is it the same behaviour ?

Hi,

In fact the first time we embeded tweets in our site we are sure all twwets where displayed in the site. Therafter we changed some settings and reinstalled another script from twitter but from that moment we only got our tweets not all the tweets including those sent using @user’sname. So we think there exists one script which makes what we wish. Unfortunately we can’t find out the first script !

Use the data-show-replies="true" parameter on the anchor tag.

It’s the case. Here is the script :

The tweets sent to@laxoubillard aren’t really replies. That may perhaps explain why it doesn’t work ?

You cannot see Tweets sent to an account in an embedded timeline. You can see the account’s own Tweets, and any replies or mentions they use (if you use the attribute I provided).

I modified show-replies=“true” to data-show-replies=“true” in the script as suggested.

On PC, replies and mention appear in the Home page. They don’t appear in the Profile page (tweets tab and tweets and replies tab).
On the site they don’t appear at all as in the profile page ?!

Is there something wrong in the above script. It has be generated by twitter. I just added data-show-replies=“true”

Problem solved.

I recreated a new script from Twitter/Profile/Parameters and after 10 times that succeeded. Don’t know why it didn’t work before ?!
