I’ve noticed this recently on mobile safari and iOS WKWebViews in apps. Since the latest embed update, videos in embedded tweets have stopped expanding. You can still hear the audio and there’s no way to bring the video back.
I can’t see any warnings/errors in the console, any ideas on what might be the problem?

Thanks for you question. This was a known problem, but a fix was deployed before you submitted this question. Are you still experiencing no full-screen? If so do you mind providing a way to reproduce it?
Cheers

I have also noticed this problem when embedding tweets in webviews on iOS and was able to reproduce this issue today.
To reproduce:
- Find tweet containing video on twitter
- Select “embed tweet”
- Copy and paste embed code within iOS Webview
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">BREAKING: Massive explosion in Beirut. Footage from the daily star office now in Lebanon <a href="https://t.co/2uBsKP5wCH">pic.twitter.com/2uBsKP5wCH</a></p>— Ghada Alsharif (@GhadaaSharif) <a href="https://twitter.com/GhadaaSharif/status/1290667092488986624?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 4, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
The tweet rendered as expected in the webview but as Jamie mentioned when pressing the full-screen button the video does not expand. The audio continues to play but there is no way to bring the video back.
Device Types: iPhone XR and iPad Pro
iOS version: Both running 13.3.1
