I’ve noticed this error for every embedded tweet in my application, and furthermore here on twitter https://dev.twitter.com/docs/twitter-for-websites as well as every other embedded tweet I’ve seen online.
My question is why is this error being thrown, and is there any plan to handle it?

Though the error message obviously could be improved, I think in this case you’re using an embedded timeline widget for a protected user, which isn’t a supported use case.
