I seem to be having the same problem as others here. I created a user timeline widget, then in wordpress created a new sidebar, added a html block and pasted in the code. But all that comes up is a single line of text saying tweets by the_craftcorner. Here is the link http://thecraftcorner.ie/home/classes/booking-completed/

I read what you said about the url. Here are the URL’s I entered. thecraftcorner.ie, www.thecraftcorner.

I have checked it out in firefox and google chrome. Any advice? Thanks Vanessa

Works, thanks! I still ran into my other issue–the text box for the domain doesn’t always let me write–but if it didn’t work, I would just save and keep trying. Eventually it allowed me to write new text for my domain.

I’m happy to see this feature developed but I have an interesting situation. I have a wordpress multisite network of two sites. The embed works on the main site at mywebsite.com (Swedish) but not the second site at mywebsite.com/en/ (US English). These sites are on the same domain and use the same theme. The only difference between the sites is the language. Unfortunately I can’t provide a link as the site is not open to the public during development phase.

I’m trying to embed a widget into my Blackboard course, but just get a “tweets about…” link. The old embed code still works. Our domain is nuigalway.blackboard.com, but you can’t link directly to the page without requiring a login.

Looking at the page after the JS is processed I see a call to a Twitter.js file is inserted in the page head. In the past when Twitter has been down, the load of the JS file has caused my page rendering to stop until the call to the Twitter JS file times out. I have manually added an “async” attribute to the old embedded tweets code to prevent that, but I cannot add it to this since the JavaScript call is generated by JavaScript. The question – can you stuff an “async” or “defer” into the generated script call?

Having issues specifying which domains our widgets would display on because our domain (sun-sentinel.com) has a hyphen. Everytime I save the widget on Twitter.com, the entered data reverts to “sentinel.com”.

Please advise.

Make sure you have both domains listed in your configuration: digitalmediamonkey.co.uk, www.digitalmediamonkey.co.uk

I get that now too. Sometimes I will refesh the page and the timeline is there, then other times just the “tweets by” link. I don’t think they’ve tested this properly.
