Is there a possibility to embed only the tweet (form) option?

I CAN NOT customize the height and width of my embedded timeline!

I changed them in the HTML and also placed the code inside a DIV with the specific dimensions my website needs - w:350 x h:150 px. But it does NOT work in Firefox, it still shows Twitter’s default height of 350px! Please help.

Also, the documentation around this topic indicates that we can make an embedded timeline around a # hashtag, but it doensn’t actually say how to do it. The Widget Configutator page of my Twiteer profile offers even less information!

We are having the same set of problems. As of Tuesday or so, our custom link color (#800000) no longer seems to be in effect, nor does the custom width of 178 px we set (this looks to be due to the recent addition of an element-level style of {min-width: 220px;}. Anything we can do about this? It breaks our design rather badly.

We’re in exactly the same boat with our own and our clients’ sites as well. This seems to have occurred since the outage 3 days ago. All links are defaulting to #0094C2 regardless of direct input, using the colour swatch, clicking on Save Settings or toggling any of the checkboxes or any combination of the aforementioned.

easy enough to change the color insert this in-line css:
style=“color: #999999;”

ex with a snippet of code:

Still having trouble with the widget height - even if I force the height on the server side call, the computed height, especially the “class stream” seems to change depending on the browser resulting. help someone ?

Is that possible to have and display an embedded timeline without domain? I just want to display a timeline on a local page, not on the internet, and when I create a timeline twitter complains that I didn’t enter a domain name.

You do need to enter a domain in the box, sorry. But you can use ‘twitter.com’ if you just want to run it locally.

I know some others in this thread have mentioned it, but I would like to add my voice to the chorus requesting a smaller minimum height.

From my perspective, 250px is an absolute necessity as a designer. This would ensure a twitter timeline widget can be placed in a layout where it may need to be aligned to an M-rect ad (300px x 250px).

While extra height is not an issue on a standard content page, on a home page content blocks often have to relate specifically to 250px height, and if Twitter desire timelines to be embedded on home pages then allowing heights down to 250px is a requirement.

I hope this can be incorporated in the near future, otherwise we will need to use hacks or forgo the timeline entirely.

Can’t input my domain www.asiariskevents.com/hft into widget, it only allows me to input www.asiariskevents.com and if I use that configuration only twitter by appears on the website

I just spent 2 hours with this problem with Drupal. To make a long story short, make sure your widget includes your site’s domain name with www and without it. I only had my domain with the www. As soon as I added the domain without it, it started working.

www.domain.com
domain.com

To verify if that’s your problem, if viewing without www, add www. If viewing with www, remove it. If it works, go fix your widget.

I was able to get this to work on my previous blog (blog.sethhancock.com) but now it WILL NOT work on my new site.

I have tried entering in both domains and copying and pasting the code into a TEXT Widget on the sidebar (which is what I have done in the past and it worked perfectly).

I am entering in www.sethhancock.com, www.sethhancock.com/blog as my URLs but keep getting the error message and if you look at my blog you can tell it’s wanting to work but something is off. PLEASE HELP if you can. Thanks.
