Embedded Timelines Questions

Hi, I’ve been using embedded timeline for about 1 month and worked perfectly.
From friday it’s not working any more…I can see the timeline, but even though there are newer tweets, it doesn’t get updated…you can see the the timeline at this page:

If I look at the same search result list on twitter site, I can see all the tweets related to that hashtag:

The configuration is ok (last week the widget was working)…what do you think could be the problem?

I’m having problems getting this working, as I’m currently building a new site for a client on my development server and as this is a local domain the widget won’t accept it. I’ve tried using the IP address, and the widget won’t accept that either.

Also, is there any way I can customise the colours? The approved design used the previous widget which I customised to match the colour scheme of the website.

I read through the board, and found many references to devs being able to programatically change the hashtag search param via an API call as “something considered.”

My company is about to begin another development cycle, and we would love to use the widget as you would like us to - but we need the functionality of being able to change the hashtag from an admin standpoint, without having to know the topic in advance.

Any word on the progress of this implementation? We would much rather use the widget than building our own calls to the API, as we often see a lot of traffic and would prefer the flexibility and functionality already offered.

Is there an easy way to move my saved timeline widgets from one account to another? If not, can I delete them from my account and have them still work on the website where they were embedded? It is okay If I can’t go back and edit them.

I am trying to put this widget onto a site using Muse. The tutorials I have seen were for a different version of the widget creator. http://www.bigbenone.com is the site. I have put in “bigbenone.com. www.bigbenone.com” in the domains section. And am only getting the “tweets by” link.

I checked for whitelisting which you’ve recommended many times. I tried assign “127.0.0.1” as a domain and it says it is invalid. Please help! Thank you.

" You have not whitelisted this domain for your Twitter widget. Go to https://twitter.com/settings/widgets/278627702305595393/edit and add ‘127.0.0.1’ to the ‘Domains’ list for this timeline."

Any updates on this? It seems it is still showing only Top tweets and not really reflecting recent tweets.

I’m struggling to embed a timeline of my favorites into my Wordpress.com blog. What’s happening is that Wordpress.com strips out certain scripts. So my original code is:

Has this been fixed? I have the exact same issue and would love to know what I can do to fix it.
Inserting the markup as provided for the twitter widget generates “Unable to get value of the property ‘replace’: object is null or undefined” on line 17.
(This is in IE9 / Win7 64 bit).

The feed still ‘works’ after you say no to debugging the page, but the twitter widget as it stands is untenable…

We cannot get our twitter timeline to display on our website. I have the new widget, and have tried several formats for the domains. What is the correct format? Could this be a problem with Google Chrome? Here is the widget code:

How do I resize the embedded timeline to fit into the sidebar of my blog? The widget is too wide and is partially covered by the body of my blog. In the widget builder there only seems to be a place to adjust the size vertically, but not horizontally. Here is the code as generated:

What’s currently the best way to embed a lot of widgets on a site? Any way to get a dynamic version of the API where we do not need to manually create all the widgets?

I’m also curious to see if there’s a real limit to the number of widgets one can create and use. I have a site that catalogs certain twitter users and hashtags and would love to move it all to the widgets but the limits and manual work scare me a bit. I heard 100 widgets was the limit, is that still true?

Hi Dev team,

Just wondering if there’s been a fix on the “filtering” on users with low tweet counts etc. for hashtag searches? My timeline works, but none of the (fairly unique) hashtag tweets are displaying - I continue to get a “Hmm, an empty timeline. That’s weird” error message even though you can find heaps of tweets with the hashtag when you search.

Not getting instantaneous results at all. Compare the embedded search widget on the mobile version of the site (http://nhv.org/Mobile) with a basic search for results on Twitter itself (http://twitter.com/#nhv). These results should match but they often lag behind by as long as 10 hours. Even then, only partial results occur.

Any theories?
