I’m very new to building a website, and I have tried everything suggested in this thread to get the embedded timeline to work on www.christiansinprobation.org. It just won’t work. The site is built via RSVSiteBuilder, and all I have done is copy and paste the code generated by the widget for @cipuk1. Any help?

Is there some reason I can’t whitelist my domain with .dev extension? I’m working on a development site that is on a local machine, I access it through apache with a .dev extension and your widget tool won’t allow me to whitelist that domain. Any thoughts?

The tweets that display in search widgets are not always going to be the same as what’s returned in search results on the site.

The tweets that display in search widgets are NEVER the same as what’s returned in search results on the site or by search API.
And this makes the search widget completely broken, and useless.

Thanks for your replies. I ended up ditching the widget and just using the API. The end result wasn’t as pretty, because we had to develop something on-the-fly, but at least it showed real-time results. I agree that the lack of real-time results makes the widgets absolutely useless for any type of real-world application (for example, we were using this to post news about local election results yesterday–so hours-old news was of very little use to us at the time!)

The new widget was working, but has been intermittent. It is now showing just
tweets by @priestleybiz.
This is very frustrating as I have deleted the old widget that was working fine.

Same for me - this was working about 2 hours ago (so I know it isn’t a domain issue) and then stopped suddenly, now just displays the single line ‘Tweets from @mattmalenczak/magic’

Going back to edit the widget, it doesn’t even display in the Preview on Twitter

Hello,
I had a two timelines embedded in my website but then i changed the domain name of the website.However after changing the domain name I edited them in twitter as well and pasted the edited code on my website but the timelines were not loading and a line Tweets by @name is coming.
What could the problem be?I have checked the script and it is all right.

It’s been working correctly all week and this morning, and then suddenly stopped working. I’ve already doublechecked my widget domains, and all looks good.

my javascript console is showing the following errors now:

Is it possible to have the minimum and maximum dimensions altered? I would have to redesign our entire page layout to fit within these constraints, when the difference is just a few pixels.

I’m trying to fit 299x194.

Is there a limit to the height of the timeline widget? I type in 900, save, and it defaults to 600.

My company’s webpage requires a space smaller than the 350px minimum height. Could your team consider reducing this to 300px at the very least? It’s currently just too ridged to meet your customer’s needs.
