Is there any parameter to change the number of initial tweets the embedded timeline shows? (how much of a timeline may be fetched in the first request). Something like “max_id”, “count” and “since_id” in “Working with timelines”. (https://dev.twitter.com/docs/working-with-timelines)

I have embedded the timeline for @TravelLiveCC on http://www.adwmagazin.at/reisen/thailand/index.html.
The widget is set up for www.adwmagazin.at, *.adwmagazin.at, but still does not show up …
Do you have any ideas?

In the last two days, it’s not possible to set up an embedded timeline code for any other height than 600 px. I tried to set the height to 1200 px, 1190px in the settings on https://twitter.com/settings/widgets – but after saving, the height value jumps back automatically to 600 px.

Is there any workaround? I tried two things, each failed:
– The manual command height=“1200” will be filtered out by the CMS
– An html doc on Dropbox works fine by itself (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2186638/upload/travellive/widget/ThailandLive_Twitter_Widget.html), but I am not able to import it via iFrame

I have a web site with individual pages for a handful of people - and I would like to use the widget on each page.
Right now it has an old version that no longer works.
I want them all to be the same style - but do I have to create a different widget for each user to get a different data-widget-id or am I allowed to make one generic one and then change the href for each page (from the same site) that I use it on?
That way if I change the style I can do it once from the widget configurator.

Not sure if this will help … but try listing both domains in the widget configurator (with and without the www). Put a comma between them
e.g.
www.mydomain.com, domain.com

I tried to put the timeline on my webpage. it doesnt work with the widget. I had it running si I thought but no browsers could see it. Today I tried every combination of my domain name in the create widget thing but nothing; just a text link comes up. I tried all the donain variations plus multiples with a comma between. I had it working until I tried the new widget but now its impossible to find a solution.

Like many (many, many, many) others here, my embedded timeline is not displaying in some browsers. It displays fine in Firefox 16 (Mac) and Explorer 8 (PC), but gives only a “tweets by @…” in Chrome 22 (Mac) and Safari 5 (Mac).

Per the instructions in this thread and at https://dev.twitter.com/docs/embedded-timelines, I have configured the widget to use my domain name with and without “www”, and have also added the *.domainname option. I first encountered the problem while putting together a Wordpress site, per here: http://bitly.com/SyiUuh. I have re-created the problem on a very simple (non-Wordpress) html page here: http://bit.ly/WmSgZK. I previously achieved the same results using a different twitter account, and have tried re-creating the widget numerous times.

Any help from @froginthevalley or another experienced individual would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I switched my old ones from /1 to /2 to kick them back into life - but I know that they are due to expire in March 2013.
So - would be good to have a way to do what I suggest above.

I am looking for a way to generate twitter search wedgits on my webapp pages, with each page having a widget with a different search keyword. Is there a way to generate multiple widgets for my site without having to get a widget ID manually for each keyword I nead?

I have a twitter widget on a website I have created. All was working perfectly up until a few days ago and now it’s only showing tweets that are no older than 5 days old. Any idea what could be causing this? Happening to anyone else?

The list timeline widget ignores the retweet setting for each list member and displays all retweets. How can retweets be turned of in the list widget?

I’m noticing a significant lag (hours) and the widget is not displaying all tweets, just some of them. ( Doing a hashtag search for #fxbgvotes ) Any fix for this?

To clarify: Some tweets do show up in real-time. But between tweets that show up, there are many that never show up. (See the difference between https://twitter.com/search?q=%23fxbgvotes and http://fredericksburg.com/News/Web/elections/2012_general/hpbox/yt_test
