On our site we get the error message:

fjs.parentNode is undefined

in the JS console. Domain correctly set in the widget to our domain, any ideas why this might be occurring? Stuck… Thanks!

Has anyone had problems with the appearance of embedded timelines in different browsers?

In Safari and Chrome, the height of my timelines is much shorter than specifiied in the HTML code. They should be 450 pixels high, but they are probably about 150 pixels.

In Firefox, Explorer and Opera, the size of my timelines is correct, but there is no bottom scroll arrow, so you can’t see older tweets.

I am using the code generated by the new Twitter widget to embed lists. I’d like to know if anyone else has had this problem, or how to fix it.

Embedded Timeline

Works fine on website.

Mobile website does not have a scrollbar. Also when typing in the little box it makes the screen bounce up and down. Disorienting the user and confusing them because the screen jumps up and down. Tested on two phones and only Android devices running 2.3 and higher.

Any help would be great! I have too many clients that rely on us. Can’t let them down. Thanks!

I am having some trouble with the Embedded Timeline and iPhones. If I use www.url for the domain, it works on iPhone 4 but not iPhone 3, if I use the domain without the www. it works on iPhone 3 and not 4. Is there a way to fix this so it works on all iPhones?

I am fairly new with twitter and am very confused. Is it true that we are no longer allowed or able to modify the timeline widget as far as colors, appearance, css? if there is a way, and documented, can you direct me to the right page(s) ? THANKS! (I have a site that wants these changes)

Any update on missing scrollbars? I’ve had a few people test my site and scrollbars did not appear for Android phones and iPad (unfortunately I don’t know which versions). The swipe technique didn’t work either. Scroll bars seems to work in most browsers and on the iPhone (hidden, but show up when timeline is swiped).

I have read the Embedded Timelines Most Frequent Problems (and their solution). I am now able to paste the code into a sidebar widget and have the feed appear…however I am interested in having it appear in places other then the sidebar. When I do this the only thing that appears is a link to the tweets. Help please.

Hi, it looks like my profile widget works on my sidebar, but I can’t embed a search widget for #sandy in a blog post. Am I doing something wrong? It would be ideal if developers are allowed to have more options for colour options. I am creating a website which is dark already. The tweeter Timeline set to dark isn’t really dark enough. As I am more of a designer with dev skills I can see it very out of place and not consistant with the rest of the site.

Im assuming a you dont provide full customisation as it could potentially breach branding? A solution could be to provide half a dozen to a dozen colour options. Not just light and dark
