I’m confused about the way the search widget is functioning. I had thought that this is what was happening – “top” instead of “all”, but if I run a search on the .com, the widget more closely resembles “all” than “top”.

What’s further confusing me is that the widget does not display any relevant tweets from the account from which the widget is created, which makes the widget semi-useless to me.

So, (1) is the widget using “top” or “all” at this point (my widget appears to be using “all”), and (2) how in the world do I get it to include tweets from the account that created the widget?

ETA: I prefer it be “all” to “top”, so if that’s what it’s doing now, cool.

Hi,

I’ve created a timeline widget that doesn’t seem to work. Ik get the “Hmm, an empty timeline. That’s weird.” message, even in the configurator screen. If I change the username to my personal one it works fine. Our last tweet is from Sept. 18th. Is there a setting I’m missing or is this a bug?

Hi…

I can’t make the search-widget work. When I make a widget with all my tweets, it works fine:

When I make a seach-widget with the example from your site (#corgi), it works fine:

But when I make a search-widget with my own # (#fs2509), it does not work:

I’ve also tried with #'s without numbers in it, but it still does not work. What am I doing wrong?

We’re trying to add a widget to our website for “#dopconf”, but when we add the code, instead of a timeline, we get a weblink:

Tweets about “#dopconf”

We have added www.bps.org.uk to list of domains.

Any ideas how to rectify the problem?

Hello

I am struggling to get the twitter timeline feed to work on my website (powered by Moonfruit). I embed the code provided by the widget into Moonfruit’s HTML:

Tweets by @Sherylin

And on the site, it appears merely in purple text as “tweets by @sherylin” see: www.counsellingcanarywharf.co.uk/about-me

I’ve contacted Moonfruit and they have advised me to contact Twitter directly as it is haphazard as to which users are successful in installing the feed onto their sites.

To clover_Twijp: Thank you VERY VERY VERY much!!! It worked. Since I am using the same Iframe app “Static HTML tabs”, I entered “admin.statichtmlapp.com” as the domain and it is now showing up for me. Hugest thank you possible as I had been trying to figure this out for days without any luck. You are a life saver!

To froginthevalley: Any chance the overall dimensions of the widget can be edited so that it is a smaller skinnier widget? Yet still displaying about 3-4 tweets worth of tweets? I’m ok with it as it is for now as I was at least able to get it to work, but it would be nice if the widget’s overall dimensions could be editable and not just the height.

when I go to twitter Widget there isnt even a preview widget there anymore its all blank now…

Oh, FFS. I just figured out the middle paragraph, I think. Some part of Twitter still thinks the account in question is private, and so doesn’t display its tweets in the widget. Except the account isn’t private anymore.

How do we fix that?

Not all tweet are currently shown in widgets. The default configuration does some filtering and is not showing all tweets.
