Looks like Joomla wysiwyg editor doesn’t play nice with the widgets (scripting code). Some additional work is needed. Here is a post and example module:

HI, I have placed the new widget in the sidebar of www.gourmetguys.co (last on right) and all I am getting is a link to a full twitter page. The previous widget still works (as you will notice) except when you make changes to the parameters like I did and then IE crashed each time the page was opened. That was a disaster as I only found out two days later and spent last night trying to find out what was causing the site to crash on those pages on IE.

Is it possible to limit the initial amount of tweets? Now this look like max 20. But can i alter this? for example set a data attribute count? Tried that but not working.

I only get a link to a twitter account. The domain is setup correctly when creating the widget.

Call to widgets.js is noted as failed - line 29 ?

I’d like it if the default behavior was to resize dynamically to the max-width of the container. Since you mention the current constraints are 220px to 520px (most likely design integrity related), perhaps it would just scale between those widths “if possible”, but otherwise just stick at those widths if the container is too small or too big.

I’m embedding the timeline widget into a mobile web app. When I look at the embedded widget on my laptop it looks fine, however when I look at it on my phone it is just showing the first 3 tweets and I don’t have the option to scroll down to see the other tweets.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello, I am having the same issue but on a weebly site, I listed weebly.com as one of the domains but just get a link that says “tweets by @afrolatinoforum” My site is: www.afrolatinoforum.org - it is a site hosted by weebly. Thanks for the help.

That’s exactly what I’m experiencing - works fine on my site with http and not with https (403 error in the JS console).

Is anyone from @twitter actually moderating/monitoring this?

I am trying to add the Twitter Timeline Widget to my websites - http://www.eclipse2012.org.au and http://www.cairns.qld.gov.au and it will not work. All I get is 1 line of hyperlinked text that says “Tweets by @Cairns_Eclipse” I do not get a box and cannot see the actual tweets on my websites.

There are 7 pages of people experiencing this same problem - can @froginthevalley please tell us:
why is this not working?
when will the code be fixed?
