Embedded Timeline Widget does not update after customization

I’m using the Embedded User Timeline widget. It works fine if I copy/paste the snippet exactly as it comes from the widget wizard/generator. But when I add my customization attributes, the updates stop working. It’s as if the tweets are frozen in time from whatever moment the page was first loaded.

Here is my widget code, which is NOT updateing:

          <a
            class="twitter-timeline"
            href="https://twitter.com/FoxNews"
            data-widget-id="7777777777777777"
            data-chrome="nofooter noheader noborders transparent"
            data-tweet-limit="10"
            data-screen-name="foxnews"
            >Tweets by @FoxNews</a>
<script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0],p=/^http:/.test(d.location)?'http':'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src=p+"://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script>

Just to be clear, I know there are a dozen similar threads in the forum in which problem resulted from replies being excluded by default. This is not my issue. Neither replies nor new tweets are auto-updating in the timeline.

An embedded Timeline will not poll for updates if a Tweet limit is specified. You are observing the expected behavior due to your data-tweet-limit customization.

The timeline will render the specified number of Tweets from the timeline, expanding the height of the widget to display all Tweets without scrolling. Since the widget is of a fixed size, it will not poll for updates when using this option.
