Embedded timeline Tweet Extraction

Good Evening

I’m a complete newb with Twitter and I was wondering if it was possible to extract Tweets from a embedded timeline and store those Tweets into a javascript table (it’s for a school project). In other words, is it possible from an all front-end perspective ?

Also, how does the Scripting events works ? I’ve tried to implement them inside some tags and I keep geeting undefined function errors from Chrome ?

Hi,

You could extract via DOM traversing/navigation but you wouldn’t control timeline refreshing. I recommend to use Twitter REST API endpoints, but you won’t be able to load directly from the browser using only javascript.

What do you mean by Scripting events? Are you referring the plataform widget.js loaded in the page?
