We have been tracking our Twitter API errors for Smart Post Application and have hit the Application POST Limit of 300 / 3 hr window a few times the last few months. It locks our users out from posting Tweets for a few hours then comes back up and works after that. I found this thread (New POST endpoint rate limit enforcement begins today) explaining how to apply for access, but on our account, I do not see the option for “‘I would like to apply for elevated POST limits.”
Is there something I am missing?
Our system can take some time to recognize that you’ve hit the rate limit and apply the proper permission to your account to be able to see this option. I can manually do this for you though.
