Dynamic Update of post parameters in API streaming

Will it be possible to update the track and follow parameters in the POST call of the streaming API while it is running ? I wanted know if there is an API by which we could update the parameters in the existing on going streaming call, I have looked at the documentation and it seems this does not exist

Hi @dallaybatta,

Unfortunately, no – the connection to the stream itself and the parameters (both ‘track’ and ‘follow’) are not independent of each other. In other words, to update or change these parameters, you’ll need to disconnect and reconnect for any changes to take effect.

Alternatively, the enterprise PowerTrack APII does have the concept of a separate “rules” and connection endpoint. This would provide the functionality that you’re asking about.
