Dynamic Cards

I’m writing a web application that displays many images. I’m attaching a twitter share button to each image and I want the card that is to be tweeted to be custom, based on whatever image is shared. The meta data is specified in the head of the document, and each page can only have one card if I’m not mistaken. Is there a common solution for my problem? As of right now the only idea I have is to change the meta tag property value when the share button link is clicked.

Unfortunately what you’re describing (changing the meta tag value dynamically) would not work, since the card crawler caches information for up to 7 days. There’s no way to achieve what you’re asking for with cards, unless you have a unique URL with a unique meta tag for every share.
