Dual error: denied due to update limits and Text contains malware

Hi,

we’re getting errors when sending messages. But these errors contain multiple explanations:

403:The request is understood, but it has been refused. An accompanying error message will explain why. This code is used when requests are being denied due to update limits (https://support.twitter.com/articles/15364-about-twitter-limits-update-api-dm-and-following).
message - There was an error sending your message: Text contains malware: Kun jij een euro missen??? Namens Spieren voor Spieren bedankt. Help mee en steun deze actie: http://bit.ly/16skZSq.
code - 151

What is the real problem here?
1 Are we hitting a limit?
2 If our text contains malware (which we can assure you is not the case) , what part of the text is considered malware, is it the url or the actual text?

Hope someone can help clarify this ambiguous message.

The malware message usually occurs when the system suspects the URL is abusive in some way – https://support.twitter.com/forms/spam can help you get that resolved if that message is in error.

It’s also possible you’re hitting update limits. Are you monitoring/throttling how many tweets are being sent by this account?

Even my app is getting the same error while updating the status with media for few users. Why it is happening like that is there any particular reason. But one thing is sure that my app didn’t hit the daily tweet limit. If i am not wrong as per docs the Api daily tweet limit is 2400 per day.

Could you please clarify what endpoint you’re using?

Could you also please send over the exact request you’re making and the exact response you’re getting back?
