My tests show that the search API no longer has a limit of 1,500 tweets. I was able to retrieve over 8,000 tweets with a repeated query. Is this an official change? Will it remain permanently? It is a game changer for search and changes the nature of using the API for tweet collection.
I wouldn’t assume that it’s going to stay that way and instead rely on the documented limit of 1,500 tweets.
Adam, I can’t get results with my twitter api 1.1. do you know what the problem could be.

even if the documentation assured that we can’t get more than 1500 tweets, I was able to retrieve more!!
