Does removing a common, identifier hash from incoming display in my app tag violate Twitter TOS?

I’m building an app designed to facilitate discussion through the Twitter network. To that end, the app will display only tweets that contain a certain hash-tag. That same hash-tag will also be included in all outgoing tweets from the app (with the user’s knowledge, complying with the TOS).

My question is whether not displaying said hash-tag (which would be in every tweet) on incoming tweets would fall afoul of the TOS? The goal isn’t to hide information, but rather to avoid displaying superfluous data.

It would be wiser to stick with displaying the tweet as authored by the tweet author and work within that framework to find ways to de-emphasize the repetition if you think it’s necessary (for instance, by fading the font a bit). Honor the tweet as written.
