I’m wanting to change to Read & Write & Direct Message, from Read & Write however I don’t want already authenticated users to loose access.

When we change permissions, does it affect the old keys?

I know for the old users to get access to new permissions, they would have to re-authenticate but wondering if they will still retain access to old permissions.

No, old keys do not change permissions, they retain them.
