Hello,

We have a strange case I saw that some people is reporting issues here: https://downdetector.com/status/twitter

The problem is that we send some direct messages as usual, for example:

1146413492070539268

And this message doesn’t appear in twitter.

Can you confirm if is something wrong?

We are experiencing problems with direct messages sent via the rest api. We receive a successful response from Twitter and the new tweet object in the response contains an ID, but the Twitter users we are contacting are reporting that the DM’s are never received.

As the OP mentioned, other people on Downdetector are also reporting issues with DM’s
