Different search result for api 1.1 and normal Tweet Search?

When I do a normal twitter search, it prints right:

https://twitter.com/search?q=from%3ABeerBellyAlbany%20filter%3Aimages&count=10&since=2013-07-01&until=2014-12-01&result_type=recent&with_twitter_user_id=true&include_entities=true

But when I test the api 1.1 itself, it gives only 1 result:

https://api.twitter.com/1.1/search/tweets.json?q=from%3ABeerBellyAlbany%20filter%3Aimages

Why are they different? I need the same results of exactly when doing a twitter search…

I’m afraid the API doesn’t support parity with search on twitter.com. In particular the search API searches only the most recent week or so of tweets.

But that doesn’t make sense because they have “since” and “until” in the api url
Why did they then put those?

I’m afraid this is just the way the API is structured. As @isaach says, the web search function is not directly equivalent to the results you will get from the API.
