We collected tweets for a specific time period with the same query using the v1.1 and v2 APIs, respectively. Then, we noticed that there were differences in the tweets obtained from both APIs. In other words, some tweets obtained with v1.1 were not present in v2 tweets, and vice versa.
We assume that the reason was that some tweets were deleted or switched between public and private, when the API request was issued, and that some tweets were not collected in v2 due to the effect of the spam filter.
Could these be possible reasons?
Also, if there are any other reasons, could you please let us know?
