Did something change last week (roughly 7/20/11) with regard to OAuth with Twitter?

We allow users to login with their social media accounts (Twitter, Google, Facebook). In the middle of last week, specifically Twitter stopped working with no change on our part. I am now receiving {“status”:405,“message”:“oauth.core.common.OAuthException: General SSLEngine problem”,“data”:null}.

Has something changed on your the Twitter side that now requires a change on our side?

We allow them to log into our site and create content as, for example, their Twitter account rather than having to create an ID unique to our site.

Hi @turbohonky. The SSL certificate for api.twitter.com recently changed and you may need to make sure you’re configured to support Verisign certificates. See [node:533] for more information.
