Developer Account Revoked After Requesting Premium API Developer Access

I hope you can help me out.

5/28: I applied for a Twitter Premium Developer Access account from my @DigitalMktgTool account, received an email that my application is currently under review.

5/31: Received an email titled ‘Case# 84327945: Gnip Freemium Access Request [ ref:_00DA0K0A8._5004A1PNzzG:ref ]’ stating “Your Twitter developer account application was not approved.”

I went to developer.twitter.com, hoping I could ask what I needed to do going forward to be considered for a Premium Developer Access in the future, and found that my account had been ‘revoked’.

I replied to the email asking what I needed to do to resolve but have not received a reply.

I have never intended to break any rules, but clearly I must have done something wrong when I applied for the Premium API Developers access.

Can you help me understand what I’ve done wrong and what path forward I need to take for resolution?

@NickNicholls I had the same thing happen to me. I did not fully read through the developer rules and policies when I first submitted my application. Now that I have I know what I can and cannot do. Is there a way to resubmit your application? Or somehow try again?

All of our developer applications are reviewed to ensure compliance with Twitter policy. While we can’t comment on specific cases, applications may be rejected if they are found to be in violation of any section of the Developer Agreement and Policy, Automation Rules, Display Requirements, and/or the Twitter Rules.

There currently isn’t a way to edit a rejected application, or to re-apply, however stay informed for product updates/changes.
