I applied for a developer account, and after submitting the application and confirming my email address, I found I had full access to the developer portal. I even created an app and have begun successfully utilizing Twitter’s APIs in my code. So are developer accounts auto-approved under some circumstances? What is going on? Can I go ahead and start using Twitter’s APIs on a production scale?
Also worth noting, I’m currently troubleshooting an issue where I can’t get the media upload API to work for images 10 kilobytes or larger. I’ve assumed it’s an issue with the third party integration SDK I’m using. But wondering if maybe my developer account is actually in some kind of “partially approved” state with limited access to the APIs or something.

Sometimes our agents can move quicker than others. If you have access to create apps and access certain developer portal pages such as the subscriptions page, you have been approved for access and can start using the APIs. The only APIs that you would have to apply for additional access will be the Ads API, the enterprise APIs, and now the new Labs platform.
