I wondering how long it takes to get approved for a developer account/application please? I’m eager to get started with the API.

I’ve heard of people being approved immediately, and others after several weeks or in an extreme case, months!

What I don’t understand is why they keep coming back to me and asking the same questions when I’ve provided as much information as possible. All I wanna do is use the API to search for particular keywords and display relevant tweets on my website. It’s like they’re not reading what I’m putting by asking the same questions over and over! Really frustrating!

Perhaps, they want to be sure the application was not made via automated means.

Just a note that mine is taking a long time as well. Gave very thorough answers so not sure what tripped this account up, in the past I’ve been approved right away. Has been at least a week pending.
