Determining Application Permissions

Hi,

How can I determine the level of access our app has? We’ve applied for access and gotten a response, but I’m still getting 403 errors. Twitter’s non-ads API is working correctly, however. So, I think that our account doesn’t have the correct permissions, but I’m not sure how to determine the current permissions.

@trent_hauck do you still not have access? When you say you applied for access and got a response, do you mean that you were explicitly contacted and told that you have access to the Ads API?

The process for gaining access to the Ads API isn’t 100% clear at present and is something that we are actively working on.

Could you try out twurl to make requests to the Ads API? Does that work for you?
