Desktop application without URL

Hi

I need to create a desktop application which connects to twitter to get the timelines and also update a user’s account.
This app needs to be deployed in an IMS environment that uses SIP server.

I am not clear about the authentication procedure i must use? I don’t have any URL. Should i use the OOB method?
I could have used the single token access but it is deprecated i suppose.

Please help.

It sounds like OOB would work. Your app would give the user an URL to visit, and then prompt the user to enter the PIN number displayed after access has been granted.
