My application of “Elevated Access” for academic purposes is declined. I want to know the reasons for this outcome. Sorry, but why my application didn’t approved? I didn’t ask for any permission for writing bots. I just needed a Elevated Access to do some academic analysis for academic purposes. I needed it to write my master thesis.

Did you mean to apply for Elevated Access or Academic Access? Twitter Developer Access - twarc for academic access, it’s better for your supervisor / professor to apply on behalf of the project / lab.

I think I’ve applied for elevated access and now when I try to apply for academic access it says “Your application has been reviewed. Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, we’re unable to approve your application.”. Why can’t I apply for academic access?

Do you mean my supervisor should apply with his own developer account and then give me the API key? Isn’t it more appropriate for me to take my own API key with my own developer account? And I still don’t understand why my application didn’t approved.

You most likely got rejected because your account is brand new and probably was not easily identifiable as an academic, lacking a publication record or university webpage profile or something. Or you proposed something specifically restricted: More on restricted use cases – Twitter Developers | Twitter Developer Platform

Well I didn’t apply for a restricted thing, you can see my application from down below.

I have an Orcid Id: 0000-0003-3860-2472, but I am just a master student, therefore I didn’t publish anything at the moment. What should I do now?

I think maybe your supervisor can try to apply and you can collaborate on gathering data that way. But i’m not twitter so i can only go by what i’ve heard worked for others.
