Data-related is ignoring one of our account @halleo

#1

Hello, I’m working to add Twitter to our site. We would like to suggest related users after a user posts a tweet. We noticed our main handle is being ignored while others are not.

<a href="http://twitter.com/share" class="twitter-share-button" data-count="none" data-via="halleo" data-related="halleo,bretthellman">Tweet</a><script type="text/javascript" src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>

See above, bretthellman is recommended fine, if we add other handles they too are recommended but @halleo never shows up. Why is that? We would appreciate being able to add @halleo as a recommendation our users tweet out.

Thanks

You might be hitting some of the “observer/implementor” perspectival issues… accounts that are already followed or “are” the current user can be omitted from the flow. Try walking through the flow from an account that has nothing to do with the “related” accounts.

@episod I appreciate the reply. I thought that could be the case and tried with 2 fresh accounts which I just created before posting this ticket.

I just retried with another fresh account and it’s still not showing @halleo, but is showing @bretthellman. Can you try the code snippet above. I’m guessing you’ll notice the same thing I’m reporting.

Thoughts? Thanks

In the case of @halleo it may be a specific issue with the account. I encourage you to file a ticket with our support team to investigate any issues that may exist: https://support.twitter.com/forms/
