CustomEventBanner for AdUnitId with Custom Ad format

I’ve created AdUnitId with custom Ad size (320*480). We are using it as a banner.
Now I want to add custom native network with mediation thru SDK.
I’ve created my own Event Class which extend from CustomEventBanner and set it as Custom Event Class in Network settings. As I see in debug mode, my Event class is never calling.

For testing, I have repeated all the flow with a standard banner size (320*50) and everything is OK. My Custom Event is calling.

Is it possible to do SDK mediation with Custom Ad format and which class should I extend in my Custom Event class ?

Hi @AndZpZ,

320x480 is actually the size of our interstitial ad format, and it’s not possible to pass that size as a banner. That should be the reason why we are not invoking your custom event class. Is there a reason why you would like to use it as a banner?

Hi @chauduyphanvu, thank you for your answer.
We are using a banner because we need to make it as a part of activity. The banner is taking almost all screen but we surround it with some custom items.
The mediation with 3th party networks works for us with S2S integration.

Interstitial ad doesn’t fit for us, because we are not able to make it as a part of our screen.
If it is any way to make a interstitial ad as part of our activity with some additional view it will be much appreciated.

Thanks for elaborating on that, @AndZpZ! With interstitials, it might be possible but it is not supported to layer other views on top of the ads.

Is there a reason you are not considering MoPub native ads for this use case? Since you have the freedom to customize the layout and sizes of your native ad assets, you can distribute them to look like a vertical ad, much like an interstitial ad in this case.
