Custom Url Shortener not passing Cards through

I am testing a custom url shortener (using Yourls). When I preview an url in the Card Vaildator, the images and data get pulled up properly (various websites tested) but when I actually post the tweet, only the url link that I enter is shows up. Here is the info:

INFO: Card loaded successfully

When posted as an actual tweet, only ‘seoyg.com/b’ is displayed.

So after further testing, I do not believe it is not the shortener that is the issue. It seems that the Card Validator shows the proper info sometimes when the actual tweet will not. Anyone else seeing this?
