I’m creating a new App and receiving the following error after submitting/Create.
“Error
useCase: UseCase can’t include invisible unicode characters”
I am assuming the UseCase is the ‘Tell us how this app will be used’ text field.
I’m not trying to and don’t think I’ve included any ‘invisible characters’ in any field.
In the ‘Tell us how this app will be used’ text field, I have both typed-in and copy&pasted from a textEdit the following (submitting without the ‘start’ and ‘end’)
— start —
Description:
The app will use the Twitter API for user authentication. Then, the app will allow users to view and reply to @Mention Tweets, Direct Messages to their Twitter account.
How it works:
A user signs up using Twitter or connect their Twitter channel in their existing account.
Then a user can view and reply to @mention Tweets and Direct Messages to their Twitter channel.
Steps:
- sign up with Twitter (a new user) or login with Twitter (existing user). If a user does not use Twitter login, they can connect a Twitter channel within the application itself (section ‘Add Channels’).
- go to ‘InBox’ panel
- view incoming @mention Tweets, Direct Messages
- reply via Public Tweet or DM (according/depending on Twitter policy)
— /end —
Please let me know what I need to do to in order to complete submission and create this new App.

It appears I can create this new App using the URL - https://apps.twitter.com/app/new. We would like to use the new Account Activity API. Will we be able to access the new Account Activity API if we create an App through the URL - https://apps.twitter.com/app/new?
