My COVID-19 Stream Approved App for my research group, Insight Centre got suspended, even after i specifically explained that this is a dedicated app for this specific purpose. Introduction | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform

Anyone else that got access to this endpoint have it revoked?

It might be a good idea to prevent Apps approved for the COVID-19 Stream from being suspended for the “Multiple Applications” Rule, given that you specifically requested a standalone app for this. I don’t know how Twitter reviews those or if there’s a human reading replies but whatever way it’s done isn’t optimal right now.

Hi @IgorBrigadir I am following up with our team to see why your app is suspended. Are you able to share more about what you mean by you specifically requested a standalone app for this? I will get back as soon as I hear back from our team.

When i was first filling out the application form, it asked to specify an app id to enable the endpoint - only that app 1 would have access to the COVID stream and compliance stream.

Then a week ago, i got a Policy Violation notice (Case# 0175842292: API Policy Violation Notice [ ref:_00DA0K0A8._5004A20l8rC:ref ]) email “You may not register multiple applications for a single use case or substantially similar or overlapping use cases.” - to which i replied

COVID19 endpoint has also disappeared from https://developer.twitter.com/en/account/labs but i don’t know if that’s because of the dashboard updates or because i’ve the app suspended.

@suhemparack It’s been a while without resolution - should i just assume access won’t be restored and i should wrap the study up an not bother?

I got a response via email after a while - this is now resolved, COVID stream is working again and collecting data - thanks!
