CORS support for profile images

Hi,

Will Twitter ever support CORS for profile images? Facebook/Google+/Gravatar all support CORS headers.

I would love to hear an update on this as well. Especially since the “twimg”-domains have an crossdomain.xml file (http://a0.twimg.com/crossdomain.xml), I don’t see why CORS isn’t supported.
