Copyright notices in image files - removed by Twitter

Greetings Twitter Dev,

I notice twitter strips my EXIF tags out of JPG files and also with PNG. This is concerning. Is there a reason for this?

I have specific reason for wanting images to contain my copyright and other creator info such as a digital signature. Can I file a bug report about this?

They are probably simply stripping all EXIF because normally you’d remove location EXIF as a lot of people would be inadvertently revealing their exact locations to the public

The platform is focused on privacy. All exif information is stripped from media.
