I’ve been looking into this for days and I’m not finding the answer, which means, I’m missing something in my searches. At large screen sizes, ESPN stories have a share button at the side of the page that is a very small twitter image and the count. Check out Sources: New Orleans Saints' Mickey Loomis could eavesdrop on opposing coaches during home games at a screen width greater than 1000 px. I want to emulate the small twitter button, but I can’t find out how to use an image while maintaining the share count. I’ve looked at Guides | Docs | Twitter Developer Platform and the related FAQs, and I’ve looked online. I can modify the button, but then I lose the count.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
