Change account associated with site Twitter Card

Hi!

I signed up for a Twitter Summary Card on my site (www.musicismysanctuary.com) and was approved. However, I associated my personal account (@fyll_s) with the site in the validation form, instead of using the Twitter account used to impersonate the site (@MIMSLexis).

I have set up the following markup in the pages to associate the site with the proper Twitter account (@MIMSLexis), but Cards still show up linked to my personal account. Here is an example of the (intended) markup now on the site:

<meta name="twitter:site" content="@MIMSLexis"/>
<meta name="twitter:domain" content="Music Is My Sanctuary"/>
<meta name="twitter:creator" content="@MIMSLexis"/>
[...]

Is there a way to update the account associated with the Twitter Cards ? Perhaps unlink @fyll_s from www.musicismysanctuary, so that I might re-validate using the proper account ?

Don’t mean to bump this thread, but I would like to know if there is a solution for this issue?

The creator/site should work. It maybe a caching issue of the card you’re seeing. In which case, it should either:

a.) be re-cached and resolved by now, or
b.) You can force a re-cache by doing this: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/cards/troubleshooting#caching

Give those a shot, and let me know if it helps…
