Description of issue:
The logs for the validator says that it was successful in fetching all necessary tags, but the image isn’t displaying.

URL affected (must be public):
Protocol: https
Domain: embargo-az-853747105.measuresforjustice.org
Path: /portal/exploration?l=WI&m=11&c=b&sl=WI081&p=WI081
(The forum software wasn’t letting me post an actual link to the URL)

Troubleshooting steps:

  • Verified using Postman/cURL that page is accessible to Twitterbot
  • Verified the image URL is an absolute URL, and that the image correctly loads at that URL

I’m getting a 404 on the image URL if I try to use curl to grab it using the Twitterbot user-agent. It does work using other clients, but I’m seeing strange truncation on the data. I’m not at all sure what is happening here.

Oh interesting! I neglected to try fetching the image with the Twitterbot useragent.

Thanks for that observation - it gives me a new avenue for debugging!
