Card Validator complaining that image is "not a valid URL" when it is!

I’m trying to validate the tags in my HTML, and I have the twitter:image tag in place and pointing to a valid image URL. However, the validator is complaining that it is not a valid URL. It is a very large image, 1440 x 720 px, that’s the only reason why I could imagine it’s failing, but if that is the case, the error message given is completely inaccurate.

Any suggestions?

Can you provide a URL with the Twitter Card metadata included?
