Card validates but summary is hidden (not expanded) by default

Sometime ago we went through the validation process for Cards. However, now, when a direct link is shared to our content, the card is hidden from view and the user must manually hit the “Expand” or “View Summary”. Here are a couple examples:

On the Card Validate page I see no options for how to remedy this, and our cards validate without error. Any ideas?

This is the expected behaviour for cards, they do not expand by default.
