Hey there,
The colours of my card aren’t displaying correctly within twitter. I’ve tried various things to correct the problem including removing and replacing it, changing the url and a few other things.
It was working fine yesterday, I woke up today and it was missing entirely. So I tweeted the URL again to check and it appeared as it is now.
The same issue occurs in multiple browsers and within the card validator
I can’t post links apparently so I can’t include a url to the affected tweet.
I’ve been through the guide here:
trouble shooting link redacted.
and I’ve also searched through this community. I can’t see this issue mentioned anywhere else.
Thanks for reading.
Still no solution, can anyone help?
Are these PNG or JPEG? Any transparency?
Is this colour issue on mobile or the web? This seems like a Twitter client issue so it may take some investigation.
On the web, I haven’t inspected it on the mobile app as of yet. As mentioned in the OP I’ve checked on multiple browsers and 3 different computers. The image was originally created in photoshop but I did try to open and save the image in mspaint to see if it was a problem with how photoshop was rendering the image, didn’t help.
With the weekend here I had a little more time to address this issue. I found a fix if anyone else has this same issue in the future. Maybe I was wrong to begin with but I had two separate meta tags for facebook and twitter as such:
By removing the twitter image (orange highlight) from the server entirely it seems to be pulling the og.jpg with no issues. My card is now displaying the correct colours. I guess there’s some kind of conflict with how twitter grabs the card. If the devs or anyone have any further questions for me I’ll check back periodically to help prevent this issue occurring for others.

I am glad you got a conclusion that works, and I’m both sorry that you had this issue, and very confused as to how it happened! For now I’m going to close this thread as I’m reading that you are in good shape. Thanks for letting us now, and sorry again that you had this experience.
